Conditions of Entry for the 2010-US Open Sweep


1. For every $150 spent in one transaction on golf equipment at The Golf Shop - Virginia Golf Club or on www.golfbarn.com.au (excluding ebay purchases), customers will receive one entry into the 2010 US Open Sweep.
eg. Spend $165 - receive one entry. Spend $1000 - receive 6 entries.
2. Entries open on Tuesday 1st June 2010 and remain open until all players have been accounted for. The number of entries will coincide with the size of the field for the 1st round of the US Open, this being 156 players.
Entries are allocated on a first in basis. Entries numbered greater that the number of players in the field as at Wednesday 16th June will be void.
3. A supervised draw of players in the 2010 US Open field will be done at 6pm on Wednesday 16th and players will be allocated to entries received in the sweep.
Players will be randomly drawn and allocated to each numbered entry until the entire field is allocated to entries in the sweep.
4. A copy of this draw will be posted in The golf Shop and also on www.golfbarn.com.au
5. The entrant who draws the player that is confirmed as the outright winner of the 2010 US Open will receive a $500 Golf Shop/golfbarn Voucher.
The entrant who draws the player that is confirmed as the second place getter in the 2010 US Open will receive a $250 Golf Shop/golfbarn Voucher.
The entrant who draws the player that is confirmed as the third place getter in the 2010 US Open will receive a $150 Golf Shop/golfbarn Voucher. 
In the case of a tie for postiions 2nd or 3rd, the denominations of the vouchers will vary according to the number of players tied for the relevant position.
eg. If there is a tie for 2nd place, the value of vouchers for 2nd and 3rd place will be added together and divided by the number of players involved in the tie.
If there is a tie for 3rd place, the value of the voucher will be divided according to the number of players involved in the tie.
6. There will be a link on the Competition page to take you to the Live Scoreboard at the US Open so you can follow your players score after each days' play. 
On the completion of the final round a notice will be put on the website of the winners.
7. Vouchers will be posted to winning entrants or held for collection by the winning entrants at The Golf Shop - Virginia Golf Club on completion of the final round.
8. If the 2010 US Open Golf Tournament is not held or cancelled for whatever reason, the total voucher prize pool ($900) will be shared equally amongst the first 156 entrants in the form of a voucher per entrant. 
9. In the Event that the player you are drawn withdraws from the event after the final field is announced but prior to tee off in the 1st round, you will receive the alternate player that takes his place.
If the player drawn for you withdraws after commencing the tournament, no substitute player will be drawn in his place.
